Last night's debate has Newt Gingrich on the defensive over his statements on illegal immigration.You see, instead of calling for a deadly laser-grid at the border, he appeared to advocate for some sort of amnesty program. Which, of course, when translated into Teabaggerese, means that he's just to the left of Che Guevara. And of course, Bachmann hammered him on it. And Romney.
Because (and I can't believe I'm saying this), when Newt Gingrich takes a stand on something that makes him look centrist IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS IN THE FIELD.... we can't have that.
That being said, Gingrich is still a scumsicle, and if anything, this makes Bachmann look even more like the crazy psycho that she is. But she can't get the nomination anyway, so....
