So, after leaving work this morning, I stopped and got a Powerball ticket (yeah, yeah, I know, idiot tax... fuck, it's at $155 million, I'll waste a buck), and the lady working the counter mentions that someone had just been in buying $21 worth of quick-picks. They had filled out a card for three quick-picks and asked that it be run through the machine seven times.
So what do I find right outside the door of the quickie-mart? Seven Powerball tickets, each with three quick-picks on them.
I couldn't keep them though. They're not mine. I took them back inside and turned them in. The lady said that the guy would probably be back once he realized he lost them. Apparently, he's a bit of a regular.
But I couldn't keep them. It's just not my way.
