Apparently, there's an undocumented "you must run this app first" bit for the Steam version of Legend of Grimrock, which solved the problem.

Of course, by undocumented, I mean I found on my fucking own, by complete fucking random chance.

So, needless to say, it's already looking like a fun game.

In the latest entry of "and nothing of value was lost" category, Newt Gingrich should be ending his run for the Republican nomination for President, and endorsing Romney... next week.

Well, suspending his campaign anyway... it lets him still collect money to pay off campaign debt. Although anyone foolish enough to donate money to a candidate after they announce they are suspending their campaign.... well, it's fools and money, what can you say?
