Houston millionaire adopts his girlfriend.

The Church of Scientology says that a woman who was held by them for 12 years is lying about everything.

Uh huh. Lying. Weird how everyone who leaves the CoS after being in for that long is lying about the treatment they received.

I just received an e-mail, purporting to be from Sony, about their problems with their whole system being hacked and whatnot.

And I don't have a PSN account. Oh, I have an X-Box 360. I play some online games. But nothing from Sony.

No, I scan the links in the e-mail (the ones that are supposed to take me to various credit report agencies, or to the DOJ, or whatever.... and the link text says one thing, but the actual link is to a completely different location.

So, be warned, there are phishers out there. Be doubly careful if you actually have a PSN account. (For the record, anything from the *.innovyx.net domain should not be clicked on.)

Facebook users are being targeted in a scam that offers them a chance to install a "dislike" button.

There are many things to dislike on Facebook, including Facebook itself, but please be careful about what you install.
