Or not. Air Force admits that the three billion pissed away on the Global Hawk Block 30 drones could have been better spent maintaining the U-2 spy planes from the Cold War, which by the way, work better then the drones.

*sigh* I mean, I'm sure the money would have been pissed away on some defense contract or another, but for fuck's sake, you'd think someone would check that the damn things work better than, or at least as good as, decades-old tech.

In January, the cost of stamps is going up again.

Now, here's the fucked up part. A large chunk of the reason the Post Office is so cash-strapped is because they are required to fully fund their pension fund... for employees who haven't even been hired yet. And of course, there's some other typical federal government shenanigans, but that's the big one. They, quite seriously, have to have pension funds for employees who won't be hired until the next decade.
