The economy is being exceptionally slow in recovering, and a lot of people are still out of work or giving up on finding work, but gas prices are starting to come down (at least here), and Romney still doesn't have the solid support among the Republican base that he'd like.
Now, after the respective conventions, when the slugfest between Romney and Obama should really start? That's when we should have a better idea of which one's going to win the sucker.
