Jon Huntsman is apparently not going to wait for the South Carolina primary to happen before dropping out.

Okay, he was polling very low here (but so is that prick Perry), and you'd think he'd just wait the six days to the primary before deciding, but whatever. Hell, he'd just gotten the endorsement of the State paper.

Oh, and he's apparently going to throw his support behind Mitt Romney.

Now, if we can just get Texas to realize what a shithead Perry is so that he comes back without a presidential nod AND no job I will have all the ingredients I need for my Texan schadenfreude pie.

Honestly, unless he somehow pulls off first or second place here in South Carolina, which can only happen if Romney, Gingrich, Santorum and Paul get caught with hookers (male hookers), then he should drop out after South Carolina.

Even odds that he won't, and that he'll hang on through Florida where he's also polling dead last. Unless meteorites take out all the other candidates, his chances are dead in the water.

Now, whether he gets re-elected in Texas? That's another matter entirely.

Yeah, we can hope. Unfortunately, it's probably going to come down to a two-man race between Newt and Mitt.

Yes, George would fry them. But Hope had a sort of sly subtlety that made it possible even for their own "side" to get his point.

True. Carlin was very much a "hammer to the face" comedian when it came to dealing with stupidity.
