So, apparently, there are members of the U.S. Senate who see no problem with a bill that would allow the military to detain and indefinitely hold people without a trial... HERE IN THE UNITED STATES.

Yes, a bill that would let the Army, or the Marines imprison U.S. citizens indefinitely.

Why the fuck am I only hearing about this now?

And why the fuck am I not surprised that Lindsay Graham thinks it's a good idea?

And they are debating this shit right now. (Well, not right now. It's 1:30 in the morning. But yesterday and today.)

Yeah, and ALL this shit-slippery slope began with the fucking Patriot Act. "It will only happen to foreign terrorists" ....yeah, no, sure it won't.

I'm fucking glad I am old, because it is hard enough at my age not to go light myself afire on the Capitol steps. If I were young, I might be tempted to light someone ELSE up.
