We (well, they) want a refund!

GOP members to Fla. Gov. Crist: Return our money!

I can only imagine the conversation went something like this:

Crist: I'm running for the vacant Senate seat!

Republicans: Woohoo!

Rubio: Hey, I'm running for that Senate seat too.

Crist: HOW RUDE.

Republicans: Well, um....

Crist: Hey, I have distinguished looking silver hair.

Republicans: He has a point...

Rubio: I'm far more conservative then Crist. Why, I barely acknowledge that Obama is President. ALL YOU FLORIDA TEABAGGERS SHOULD VOTE FOR ME.

Crist: Hey now...

Rubio: And I'm all for drilling off the coast off Florida. Why, whatever could go wrong with that?

Republicans: He is far more conservative then Crist.

Crist: Look now....

Republicans: I think we'll be supporting Rubio.

Rubio: I appreciate your continued loyalty to whatever shifting wind will keep the seat in Republican hands.

Crist: Why you... I could run as an Independent, you know. It worked for Lieberman.

Republicans: HOW RUDE.

Crist: I'm just saying, maybe you ought to back me and shit.

Republicans: .... nah.

Crist: Right, fuck it. I'm running as an Independent.

Republicans: WHY YOU DIRTY MOTHERFUCKER! THIS IS COMPLETELY UNPRECEDENTED! YOU'RE NOT LOYAL! GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY!

It probably went very much like that.

Was it you that posted the link about the "loyalty oath" that is supposed to prevent republican politicians from supporting Crist after he leaves the party?

.... I don't think so. I'm pretty sure I've posted about the Republican loyalty oath, but I don't recall the bit specifically about Crist.
