Interesting....

The South Carolina State Legislature is re-convening tomorrow for a special session, specifically for the purposes of tweaking state laws to allow more people to claim unemployment benefits.

All well and good.

They might also start impeachment proceedings against Governor Sanford. You see, the session ended just a few days before his little "hiking the Appalachian Trail" episode. So while there's been a good number of legislators saying he should resign, they haven't had an official chance to begin the "chuck his ass to the curb" proceedings.

Interesting indeed.
