Okay, I have a replacement TV. It works fine.

But I can't seem to get it and my VCR to talk (I can't record a damn thing but static). Apparently, I'm doing something wrong, but I have no idea what.

I can play tapes. That's not a problem. I just can't record anything, which is, to put it lightly, wierd.

I'll have to take a look at that. The sad thing is, I probably could have avoided this if I had paid more attention to things when I was unhooking the previous TV.

As it stands, there can't be that many possible combinations of ways to hook these things up such that it will work.
