Dec. 6th, 2011 07:52 pmSouth Fulton fire department watches a home burn down, doing nothing because the home-owner's hadn't paid a fee.
This is the same fire department who did nothing last year under similar circumstances.
Here's the thing. On one hand, I can understand that it costs a lot of money to maintain fire-fighting equipment. Likewise, training and insurance for the fire-fighters is not free.
However, do you honestly think that the family who just lost their home is now in better shape to afford this fee?

Dec. 6th, 2011 08:17 pmMitt Romney has apparently told Trump that no, he won't be attending Trump's Republican candidate debate.
I had previously posted that Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman had already told Trump no, but this makes the first candidate who... well, let's face it, actually has a shot at the nomination to decline Trump's ego-driven debate. (Because, cards on the table, that's what it is.)
This could get very interesting if the rest of the candidates (or even just a couple more) tell Trump that they aren't going to be attending. In fact, I will go so far as to say it will be funny as shit if Gingrich either ends up being the only one attending, or if he ends up backing out of the debate.
