From @God_Damn_Batman: True, I was calling him “Albert” all week just to see what would happen, but I didn’t expect the guano in my humus. Well played, old man.

Nov. 11th, 2011 10:22 amI installed a program that tracks my CPU's temperature. If I'm just web-surfing, or checking e-mail, or other standard tasks, all four cores stay around 40 degrees.
If I run City of Heroes (an MMORPG), all four cores go up to around 60 degrees. Oddly enough, running LoTRO doesn't raise the CPU temp as high. Oh, it goes up, just not as much.
So, WTF? LoTRO should require more system resources, but it doesn't. Hrm. Still, I'm going to get my computer looked at this weekend.

Thank you.
Regardless of whether I think any of the conflicts that the U.S. military is currently involved in are justified, I would like to thank those people who are often in harm's way, who would rather be home with their families, and who defend this country.
Thank you.
To those who have served in the past, thank you as well.
