I'm not actually entering these in any contest (not that they would stand a whelk's chance in a supernova of winning if I did). I'm doing them to amuse myself a bit, and possibly amuse others.

Honestly, I'm trying to save you from yourself. I know you don't own an automobile, particularly since you don't have to travel father than 4 blocks to get anywhere. There is one thing you don't know, however:
My truck is a 1999 Chevy Tahoe. He is a large, angry, BLACK truck named Wrathbone (the Marauder). And like anyone who's large, angry and black, he's sensitive to "race" issues.
I'm just saying, he's got the "man" trying to keep him down already, and then he has to take grief for being big and guzzling gas. It's not his fault, man.
It would be his fault however, if he ran your little white ass over sometime while you were walking to work.
I can't control him, he does what he wants to.
So see, I think you need to cut the Tahoe's some slack, lest one decide to trip over all the press OJ's WHITE BRONCO got. They're still all very hurt over that issue.

*shrug* Nothing against your car... I just don't like SUVs much. And it's not really because of the shitty gas mileage many of them get, or the emissions problems they have... it's that it seems that the vast majority of them (SUVs) are owned by people who never take it outside the city. So all these commercials showing the SUVs in remote wilderness areas... well, they're silly.
Actually, why limit it to SUV commercials. Most commercials are silly.
Really, the whole point of my little 'entries' is not so much to poke fun at the cars, but the commercials. I'm making the commercials that I would want to see. I mean, it's been a long time since a commercial made me want to go out and buy anything (in fact, it's been decades, and it was almost certainly a toy commercial). And even my commercials wouldn't make me want to buy a Tahoe.
I guess it's like that Dudley Moore movie where his character was an advertising executive who went a little nuts and made a bunch of advertisements that had "the truth" in them.
Plus, it amuses me.
Anyway, if I wasn't scared of Rob Nagasaki's truck-fu, I don't think I'm going to get in a bind over your Tahoe.
