Well now, there's a thing

SCOTUS has upheld (5-4) that the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) is constitutional.

The dissenting side is Scalia (as expected), Alito (ditto), Thomas (ditto) and Kennedy (and ditto).

It is further interesting to note that Romney's response was reportedly going to be the same regardless of how SCOTUS decided. Namely, he's supposed to say "Yeah, but Obama hasn't been dealing with unemployment like he said he would."

To which I respond "NEITHER HAS YOUR SIDE, ASSHOLE."

I have no idea how to parse this. I kinda feel like it would have been better to overturn the whole thing that put up with Roberts's concurrence. And LOL at Just Kennedy McModerate Alwaysright wanting to overturn the whole thing.

Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minnesota, responded to the ruling by saying, "This is a turning point in American history. We will never be the same again with this denial of liberty interests..."

The fuck is a LIBERTY INTEREST?
