The maximum sentence for what he did is apparently only twenty-one years in Norway.
Uuuuunless he's deemed to be dangerous to society. If so, he can essentially be held indefinitely.
Considering the fact that he's said he's happy he did it, has no remorse, and would do it again, I'm hoping he's a candidate for option #2, but option #1 is still there.
