I did something not fun to my lower back. Between IcyHot and Excedrin Back and Body, it's only slightly less hurty. (I could barely put on a pair of socks earlier because it hurt to bend over that much.)

I don't remember doing anything to my back yesterday, but damn....

Probably. The back thing from a year ago was much more painful. There was no warning, and when I bent down to pick something off of the floor *WHAMMO* instant super-pain, to the point where I could barely walk. Something like every fifth step shot a bolt up pain up my spine. And I had to work that night.

I live with level 3 pain constantly. Occasionally shooting up to level 6.

Quite probably. Never found out for sure, because I never went to a doctor for it then. My back has bothered me slightly, on and off, for years anyway, due to my poor posture. It's also one of those lovely side-effects of getting older.

The mate had poor posture and never thought a thing about it until he herniated a disc in his back.

Then, after surgery, did it AGAIN.

He's got a plug, now.
