So, it seems that the RIAA was recently caught downloading all kinds of things, illegally. Their response was that "someone" must have been using their IP addresses. In other words, their defense is that they say they didn't do it, and that should be good enough of an excuse to avoid any fines.

.... okay, if it's good enough for them, it should be good enough for anyone.

*nod* I want to see the next person they go after use the exact same defense they just used. And have the judge say "Fair enough." and dismiss the case.

It won't happen, of course, but it's nice to dream.
