I was listening to an episode of To The Point, this public radio debate show, and they had this Wall Street Journal editor on. His viewpoint was, seriously, that taxes should not be cut at all because it's a recession and the military can't be cut because the military is important, and he couldn't understand why the Democrats wouldn't want to take this opportunity to reform entitlements since that's what's bankrupting America. He genuinely couldn't believe that Dems wouldn't want to take a one-sided deal for the good of America.
