You know, ages ago I read a sci-fi book by a ex-military analyst dude named M.A. Foster. It was called "The Gameplayers of Zan" and it had a super over-populated human population that mounted cameras EveryFUCKINGwhere and teamed with "detectors" to spot facial stress, body chemicals in off/aroused/stressed condition so they could keep track of everyone and pick them up at will/need.
I remember shuddering in horror then. Shit like this, coming about? This is why I don't buy any new sci-fi, tho' it was long my favorite genre of fiction. Because I don't think I fucking WANT to know the future any more.
