Yes, because the war on drugs has been an overwhelming success thus far
Rick Perry is open to the idea of sending U.S. troops to battle Mexican cartels.
One would assume with the Mexican government's permission. One would also hope that the U.S. troops sent in would be better armed then the cartels. (Okay, the cartels probably don't have attack helicopters and fighter jets. Yet.)
I quote Bill Hicks: "I loved when Bush came out and said, "We are losing the war against drugs." You know what that implies? There's a war being fought, and the people on drugs are winning it."
