This new mouse sucks.

I have three, count them THREE broken mice within reach. This one, when using the scroll wheel, jumps down. I could be scrolling up a webpage with it, and nope, it decides I really scrolled down half a page.

One of them is constantly double-clicking or not clicking at all (changes randomly) when it is supposed to be single-clicking,

And one... the scroll wheel doesn't work.

The last two are the same model. If I could take them apart and assemble one working mouse, I would do so in a heartbeat. (In fact, I may try it anyway. Fuck it, they're already not working right. What have I got to lose?)

Errr....deals.woot has a MS Sidewinder X5 on sale...I hear they're decent. It's a referb, though. What brand you been buying so I can avoid them in the future.

Well, to be fair, each of the mice (except for the recent $10 cheapo) have lasted a few years each before breaking.

The current one (less then a week old) is utter crap, though. But what do you expect for $10?

Oh, and the two that broke (after lengthy terms of use) are Logitech mice. The one that I just bought that is a hunk of shit is from Digital Innovations.

That's why I tend to spend $60 when I buy a mouse. I'm hard on them.
