(no subject)

I've noticed a few things since re-installing XP....

1) The default XP settings look like a Tele-tubby was one of the GUI designers. I'm sure there are people who want these big balloony windows, but damn, there are some seriously messed up graphics designers at MS.

2) The computer seems to be faster. This is, no doubt, because a lot of the crap I used to have on there is now gone. Of course, I will be re-installing some of that stuff, just as soon as I find the disks.

And I'm back up to about 1/3rd of the mp3s I used to have.

There is a setting

There is a setting somewhere that allows you to switch it from looking like a teletubbie.

Try right-clicking on the desktop and searching through the options, or the menu bar/start menu. It's in there somewhere. I know, because I changed it on mine.

Oh yeah, same here. It's one of the options under Control Panel -> Display. I'm just wondering what kind of hallucinogens those dimwits at Redmond were on when they thought it was a good looking GUI theme.
