Buffet, as an investor, has a lot of very peculiar ideas. He operates almost solely on the idea of hunting down companies whose stock prices seem too low for the product that they sell and then buy on those, rather than focus on things like high frequency trading or fad investments. This has done his company very well and Buffet himself is very respected, but very few other companies seem to follow that philosophy. His views on politics are treated the same way, including by his fellow Nebraskans.
