Let's hear it for coupons

I just got a 12-pack of Dr Pepper for $0.25.

A pity I can't do that every time I need more soda.

I was picking up some root beer for my pregnant friend the other night and noted that the Safeway brand was $2.00 for a TWELVE pack.

God dammit why can't beer be that cheap?

I had an unrestricted coupon for $3.00 off my total purchase, and all I bought was the 12-pack, which is normally $3.25.
