Honestly, ever since I learned that Congress has to specifically vote against giving themselves a raise, I've had little sympathy for anyone in Congress. McConnell's bullshit is just the icing on a shit cake.

Sometimes I wonder if we shouldn't have ONE term limits. Maybe then they'd know they may as well knuckle down and do some work, since running for re-election would be off the table.

But no....I know there is no easy solution.
