Oddly enough, I never had a cat do this... at least that I recall. Mind you, one of the little hairballs would crap in the bathroom sink if the litterbox was not cleaned often enough...
My eldest cat will yowl for attention, then lead me into the laundry room to tell me that the cat boxes need attention. He did this yesterday, and I apologized and said I wasn't going to scoop them before breakfast, but he could always go outside. (It was raining.)

Whenever I stayed too long at work, and my cat at the time wanted OUT and was not granted her wish, I'd come home to a shredded roll of TP.
And she wouldn't just stop there, oh no. If I took long enough, she'd open the bathroom cabinet, pull out all the other rolls, and shred them, too.
I got into the habit of peeling wads of shredding TP off of the roll to use because DAMMIT, CAT MUST NOT WIN. And also must not waste paper.

He literally sighed and got in the box. :D
