Just got back from seeing Your Highness.

It's not a great movie. By that, I mean, it's not going to win any Oscars for Best Actor, or Best Film. (Although, perhaps costume design...)

But it is fucking hilarious.

It is, quite literally, every single bullshit session among gamers playing D&D put on the big screen. All the swearing, poorly thought-out plans, and zingers, wrapped up in a script.

I can only imagine how many takes they had to do for certain scenes because the actors couldn't keep straight faces at what they were saying.

Two thumbs up.

Given the beating this has been taking in the usual reviewers writeups, I'm not surprised to see this. In fact, I'm quite pleased to see this!! Looking forward to seeing it.

All of my friends who have seen it enjoyed it as well, but most of them are gamers, and have rude senses of humor, so.....

Yeah, it's a niche film.
