So I went to the doctor

as I mentioned in the last post. Some interesting notes from the doctor.

I weigh 180 pounds.
I have 110/80 blood pressure.

The first surprised me a bit. I figured I weighed maybe 165 or so. I ought to look at dropping a few pounds. (Okay, before anyone jumps in here, I am less then six feet tall, and am not muscular. So, if I weighed 165 or so, I would look skinny, but not unhealthily so.)

The second? Man, I would have sworn my blood pressure should have been a lot higher, all things considered. I don't really exercise, I love salty snacks, and I drink way too much soda.

But... I don't smoke or drink, so that probably helps.

it's mostly genetics. i suffer from high blood pressure (like my father). presently doctors just go "oooh, okaaaay..." but no doubt one day this will change. (im relatively in a decent weight range, maybe 5 or 6 kilos over)

my uncle on the other hand. italian, overweight but not excessively (he's a brick layer). like most good italians, he likes to eat, he also smokes a pack a day. his BP? perfect. you should of seen my fathers face :P

You also don't come across as particularly stressed out on a regular basis either.
