What I'd like to see after the Year of Fire
If you're not in the Camarilla, and/or don't play White Wolf games, you won't get this. Move along citizen.
1) No more clans. Failing that, at least get rid of the bone-stupid ones.
2) No Disciplines that require more pages devoted to rules and rules updates then the description of the Discipline. In particular, no Thaumaturgy, Necromancy, or Chimerstry.
3) No more eco-warrior Werewolves.
4) Make up your god-damn mind on how Mortal Sorcery works.
5) While you're at it, get rid of the bone-stupid Psychic Numina.
6) A consistent back-story, even if it's in-house only, that explains where everything comes from. It's okay to lie in the flavour text, but when the in-house developers can't keep things straight, crap like in DSotBH creep in.
7) A unified Vampire venue.
8) A fully supported Mortals venue.
9) Use of Kindred of the East and the rules contained therein.
10) Active use of a spell-checker and a proofreader.
I'll think of more later...

Hear hear!
1. I disagree with your description of the Tremere as a "bone-stupid clan", I think the label is more accurately placed upon the Toreador, who fulfill *no* purpose that can't better be done be either a Ventrue or a Brujah. I'm sorry, but an eternal obsession with art is a stupid basis for a group of vampires. And yes, I realize that they help fill in the "Gothic" part of the world description, but goth didn't exist in the time of Caine, so where did they come from?
2. I disagree, somewhat. Thaum would be okay if they pared it down and threw out about half the paths. Path of Blood and a few others make sense. Path of the Levinbolt? The Green Path? :Shudder:
3. oh god yes.
4. Hot DAMN, but that would be great. Especially if they could make up their minds, and then *write it well.* (Laws of the Hunt Revised makes me queasy)
5. ::nods vigorously::
6. ditto.
7. I agree, as long as faction infighting remains. One of the things that makes Vampire so much better than every other major venue is its very lack of a unified us vs. them, D&D mentality that every other major venue posesses. (i.e. Garou vs. Wyrm, Mages vs. Technocracy)
8. I would like to see it too, but don't hold your breath. I think it's far more likely to get rolled into either Mage or Hunter, if either of those remain in a form which we recognize. I was frankly surprised this *didn't* happen in 6.0.
9. yup.
10. YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!
