Well, considering how back-asswards the state has been in regards to illegal immigration and other shit, it's kind of surprising that they managed, even by the slimmest of margins, to legalize medical marijuana.

I have to figure that they knew they couldn't possibly go the complete legalization route, and medical marijuana was a pretty good hedged bet to deal with Brewer as Governor for the next four years.
