So...

McCain is back in the lead in his Arizona Senate primary race. Now, you could chalk it up to Arizonians preferring a known quantity, or the advertising blitz McCain has done, or Hayworth fumbling of the facts when it comes to whether the U.S. declared war on Nazi Germany (we did), or whether the Massachusetts law allowing gay marriage would also allow a man to marry a horse (it won't).

When it comes down to it though, I think we can all agree on one thing that hurt Hayworth.

He's really goddamned creepy looking.

I mean, look at him. It's like someone tried to make a Joe Piscopo clone, but halfway through said "Fuck it." But hey, Piscopo isn't that creepy, I hear you say.

Look at that picture. LOOK AT IT.

Fucking creepy.

I'm not saying McCain isn't creepy. But fucking look at that picture of Hayworth. I don't know... to me he's giving off this vibe of "I'm going to wear your skin like a suit."

I am almost minded of this (http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUS269&q=The%20Smiler%20Transmetropolitan&um=1&ie=UTF-8&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&biw=1208&bih=792).

Yeah...

Although McCain is more of the "do or say anything to get elected".

And the Teabaggers' stance against anything 'un-American' is more of Heller's take on things.
