Here's the deal though. I already have one for my main hand, so I'd be dual wielding them if I had won it. Also, I died about halfway into the fight and didn't (rather couldn't) get back into the instance while the fight was still going on.
So I got back in, to see what the loot dropped off of the boss was (the standard Frozen Orb, some Plate armor, and the Blood Weeper), but I didn't win the need roll.
I'm a bit pissed about it, but at least it didn't go to a class who cannot equip it.
