Until the onions and zuchhini are soft - give it ~10min and double-check because steaming setups vary, but 10min should be good. Zucchini take longer than onions.
(I'd recommend feeding the mushrooms to a dog you don't particularly like, personally - so I'm not good on their cooking times)
Steamed zucchini sounds... bland - but fried with garlic and butter and spices, though, it can be really quite good. Of course, that can also be said of dog food and styrofoam.
