So a few days ago, I caught an advertisement for "Splinter Cell: Conviction", and there was, of course, a song playing in the background. I remarked (at first to myself, and later to friends) that it sounded like something by Johnny Cash.

It is. Sort of. It's a version of a pre-existing song that Johnny Cash covered.
