I am going to see Eddie Izzard live in concert tis weekend, but I may make it back in time to see them. It will be doubly funny to see them react to Columbia's Goth scene. I normally don't judge social groups; punks can have their fun etc, but Goths I think are laughably lame. I don't want to pidgeon hole myself and say they are all depressed blah, blah. But most ethos' have some kind of rallying cry. Punks rally under this kind of nihilistic disaffected youth banner. Emo rallies under emotion. Goth rallies under apathy and boredom; A lame set of values for lame people.
