The "holy shitballs, it's cold" days are over, it seems. South Carolina's participation in the cold snap has ended, with no goddamn snow in sight. So now, it's back up to normal temperatures for January here (i.e. the mid-60s, if not higher), which means that within a day or two, the heat will get turned off in the building again.

Which also means, a week or so after that, it will unexpectedly drop to just above freezing.
