It's been that way since early in the year. Got bad over summer. My friends and I went to six different shops one day looking for 9mm just to go on a shooting trip in the mountains one day, couldn't find jack.
There are lunatic rednecks all over this part of the state with entire garages full of ammo now. They're buying it faster that the stores can stock it.
The others are doing the same thing but then re-selling it at inflated prices on sites like gunbroker.
