WTG Blizzard, that fixes everything.

So, the first look at the 3.1.0 patchnotes for WoW is on mmo-champion.com

And Blacksmithing is getting at least a half-dozen level 80 epic plate recipes (no mail, which is odd).
Leatherworking is getting at least a half-dozen level 80 epic leather recipes (again, no mail, and most of it is fucking druid gear...)
Tailoring is getting a few level 80 epic cloth recipes.

And Engineering is getting.....

Jesus H. Fucking Christ. I want to take donations so I can fly out to Blizzard's HQ and slap someone.

I mean, I know, hey, this is just the first look at the patchnotes. The 3.1.0 patch can't possibly be complete. But come the fuck on. All the problems Engineering has (many of which are problems that no other crafting profession has to put up with), all the deficiencies in gear, and whoa... a level 49 trinket is all they have to show us at the same time that they're adding all these things to other crafting professions?

*nod* Yeah, Alchemy got an elixir that you can make...at level fifteen. *shakes head*

They fucked with my DK's runes again. *sigh* Of course, they also went and made Blood spec broken again, so I'm not bitching too bad.

Actually, at least 4 of those recipes for leatherworking are mail. And half of the leather is caster druid vs. feral druid/rogue.

Jewelcrafting isn't getting much (but then they really don't need it at this point).

And feral druids are losing armor granted through a talent... means my armor is going down... :( (Survival of the Fittest (Tier 6) now increases your armor contribution from cloth and leather items in Bear Form and Dire Bear Form by 11/22/33%. (Previously 22/44/66%)) So I will no longer, even with the gear I have, be nearly as good a tank. Barring use of the new skill/spell....

*nod* I just noticed that some of it was mail.

And you still have roughly 18,000% more utility than a Rogue...

Rogues routinely out dps me in raids. A similarly equipped protection fighter can tank a ton better then me. I play a furry meat shield that can cast spells (and not well).

Yeah, but you can DPS. And you can tank (or at least off-tank). And you can heal.

Where's my healing tree? Or my tanking tree? Okay, I don't get those because I'm pure DPS. How about, where's my group-wide or raid-wide buff? Oops, don't have that either.

Like warriors have one? Well, a couple shouts, but those don't last long.

And some of the raid-wide buffs are so narrow that they are only useful in certain circumstances. Shadow protection? Mostly useless. Sure the stam buff from the priest, the intellect from the mage and the MotW from the druid are very useful.

Rogues are expected to stab it with knives until it stops moving.
