Color me unshocked

T-Shirt Hell is not going out of business.

(For the record, unshocked is two rows back from purple in the mega-assortment of crayons.)

Early April Fool's? Or was the owner on the rag?

Going by his message, I'm thinking he just wanted to fuck with people.

He did manage to move 100,000 t-shirts in those two weeks, though.

Her. I believe.

I'd be mad as hell if I'd a bought one.

I DID buy one. I mean two. I'm a sucker.

[identity profile] kierthos.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 02:18 pm (UTC)(link)
At least they were on sale during those two weeks.

[identity profile] flemco.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Ehn. I bought two, but the discount kinda moderates my "outrage." This word is in quotes because I kinda figured there was a really good chance that this would all be a hoax.

Where did you see this message? I checked my inbox but there's nada.

[identity profile] kierthos.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 04:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Here (http://www.tshirthell.com/hello.php), but you've already figured that out.

Con job. If I were a "last minute" sucker customer, I'd want his balls hanging on my keychain.

[identity profile] sabrarosa.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
So would I. Especially after the whiny, hissy fit letter s/he put up on their site!

[identity profile] egearman.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 06:14 pm (UTC)(link)
You do realize that he is in the business of a) selling t-shirts and b) pissing people off. The fact that he managed to combine the two in order to sell more t-shirts (at a discount) surprises and angers you?

[identity profile] sabrarosa.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 07:15 pm (UTC)(link)
I am neither surprised nor angered. 'Tis the age of the internet hoax. The letter however was annoying and whiny and I cannot abide by that. Since I suspected it was a hoax I was not particularly worried about losing my chance at buying the "My Marxist Feminist Dialectic Brings All the Boys to the Yard" tshirt. It will be a nice addition to my "Talk Nerdy" to me shirt :P

My apologies for misreading your intent.

The day it was first announced, I was upset, since I like the site. After about 3 minutes of thought, I told the room (3 other programmers) I felt it was a hoax.

[identity profile] sabrarosa.livejournal.com 2009-02-16 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah well, easy to do online. No harm no foul. Now go buy tshirts so Sunshine won't feel the need to perpetrate anymore silly hoaxes. :D
