One of the cats we had many years ago would eat potato chips and drink beer if you were careless enough to leave a glass of it unattended.

No, I believe it was a completely different cat that tore through the house dropping cat poo all along it's path.

And a completely different cat then that one that once ran through the newspaper my father was reading.
