I knew I should have gotten a new monitor when I got a new computer. I didn't think I needed one.

When I turned it on before going to work, it started flickering in and out and fading to blue before winking out.

Funny how that goes. Day after I bought a new monitor, the HD in the pc died.

On the "bright" side, widescreen LCD's have gotten pretty damn cheap.

*nod* I'm using the backup monitor right now. It's a smaller monitor, and it's actually older then the previous monitor, but I'm probably going to be picking up a decent widescreen LCD in a couple weeks.

If I can afford it, I'm thinking a 22" one. Which would be nice, because my new computer can play DVDs.

aye. I got a 19" for like $179 recently. seems huge compared to my laptop screen.
