A minor bitch about D&D 3.5
Okay, no, I haven't gotten my 3.5 books in yet, but I already know some of the stuff that's changing. I think my biggest problem are the "buff spells" like Bull's Strength, Cat's Grace, etc. They are going from a duration of 1 hour/level of the caster to 1 minute/level of the caster.
Okay, sure, it cuts down on the cheese of having a higher level caster keep the bonus on you all day long, but I picture way too many games (especially Living Greyhawk ones) with players either ceasing to use the spells altogether, or bugging the GM far too much with "The spell's still up, right?"
What were the clueless monkeys at WotC thinking?
