perfection!

Found a way to insure that Wendy's does not screw up my order.

You see, I can't stand tomato slices. Don't know why. I like ketchup, tomato sauce and paste on pasta, and salsa... but I don't like tomato slices. So, yesterday, when I went to Wendy's, I ordered two burgers, hold the tomato.

Apparently, that translates to "leave the tomatos on, hold the onions". But I've found a way to work around this. I just order chicken nuggets. Sad, but true.

ahahhahah....try ordering a coconut frappaccino at starbucks...no lie real conversation:

"i'd like a venti coconut frappaccino please"
SB: "coconut mocha?"
"no, that has chocolate in it, i'd like a venti coconut frappaccino please"
SB: "coconut creme?"....
"does that have coffee in it?"
SB: "no"
"i know that, i would like a venti coconut frappiccino please"
SB: "you want coffee in it?"
(i am screaming inside my head about now - i mean HOW HARD IS IT??!@?)
"yes! i want a VENTI COCONUT FRAPPACCINO PLEASE!"
SB: "one venti coconut frappaccino with coffee" they call out to who ever is building them at that moment.

i avoid the whole thing now by ordering caramel, aparently it makes more sense to them to put caramel with coffee.....

I tend to avoid Starbucks if at all possible. Pretty easy, actually, considering that within a three minute or less walk, there are three places where I can get a cup of coffee. Heck, one of them is in the same building I live in, although I usually just go there for a bagel or two.

To me, it seems that Starbucks is spending far too much time and money on being trendy, and not enough time and money on training.

originally, i COME from 'coffee land'...there was never a need to actually GO to starbucks. their coffee tends to be too bitter. (they dont clean the groups enough and they tamp the coffee too firmly)

here? its DIFFICULT to find a frikken good latte.....*frown*

and considering i am a barista myself? i'm just gonna have to start makin my own at home again.

*grumble*
