I am experimenting with the S2 style

To say that nearly all of the LJ S2 styles are crap would be an understatement.

If I knew how to create my own, I would.

Edit: Well, it isn't perfect, but it will do.

What's an S2 style? We talking CSS here?

It's just a different way of viewing LJ. Like, your journal appears a certain way depending on what style you use, right? Well, all of the old styles were under the S1 format. All of the new styles are under the S2 format. But you can change certain things in S2 which were a pain in the ass to change (or outright impossible) under S1.

So, yeah, I guess it would be CSS. But it seems to be an implementation that has some LJ specific stuff to it.

I wish it was as easy as CSS. I don't know what kind of obscure scripting language they used to design LJ but it sucks ass.

I'm not sure either. But I'm not trying to code anything complicated. I just wanted to change my default style a bit and not have it look like ass.
