Tomorrow is the Democratic primary here in South Carolina

And the polls on Real Clear Politics are showing Obama with a decent lead over Clinton. This pleases me. And if Obama does win, it might boost him in Florida and California a bit, where Clinton is currently far ahead in the polls.

What does not please me is that I looked up where my the polling location I'm supposed to go to is, and it's almost a mile walk away. And, at best, it's going to be cold tomorrow. It may be fucking cold, and there's a slight chance of "Oh my god, my balls just froze off" cold. Also it may rain.

And on a side note... people, if you're going to stand on the sidewalk to talk to your friends, don't block the entire fucking sidewalk, 'kay? I should not have to walk into the road to get around your dumb, unmoving asses.

I'll bet if you call your local Dem office, you can get a ride to the polls. Here in Illinois, it's a pretty common practice (especially for elderly, disabled, etc.). Just tell 'em your ankle is fucked up or something.

Bah. If it's not raining, I'll just hoof it. I used to walk more then two miles a day going to and from classes in '98 and '99.
