I'm largely basing my knowledge on the fact that you have songs or albums of the same name by different artists without it being a cover, in the case of songs, and not have a problem. As far as TV and movies go, there may be a limit.
Although, to be honest, when it came out, I thought it was very awesome. Of course at the time, I'd never heard of White Wolf and I was addicted to Highlander: the Series, and Forever Knight, so really, I was their target audience.
Sad, but true.
(I still like Highlander: the Series, but can fully see the cheesiness of it)
