That didn't last long

My journal is no longer set to adult concepts. The experiment has failed, proving one last time that Six-Apart didn't know what the fuck they were doing.

Did I miss something?

Yes and no. Six-Apart, in one of their last actions before selling LJ, added some new 'features'. You can set your journal to "normal", "adult concepts" (must be 14+ to read) or "adult content" (must be 18+ to read). The problem is, it sets your entire journal, all the way back to your first entry, to whatever you default it to, which can be a pain in the ass to anyone who's trying to find a specific entry.

It's also horribly done, because anyone in possession of a retarded chimp's brain stem can fool their age verification methods, it doesn't actually "pwotect da childwen", and it's more of a CYA maneuver by Six-Apart, even considering that they sold LJ soon after implementing it.

I want to find whoever thought up the automatic cut your post thing and spend some quality time with them involving an ice pick.
