I've been updating various things with my new e-mail. Should go simple, right? Right, it should.

What's the one thing that's being a dick? LJ.

Update the e-mail notification for comments and such on LJ. It says I have to validate it. Okay, no problem says I. Only the goddamn validation e-mail is not showing up at my new address. Wait, says I, maybe something is slow on LJ today. It would not be the first time. So I check it by chaning the notification e-mail to my yahoo account. What happens? Why, the validation e-mail to my yahoo account shows up immediately.

Where is the validation e-mail to my roadrunner account? Nowhere to be goddamn seen.

I am becoming un-fucking-enamored with roadrunner with every minute that passes.

RR maybe have LJ blacklisted? You'd never see anything if RR bounced the LJ email before it got to you.

Yeah, I'm going to look into that. It will piss me off if it is.

Shouldn't be it. Because I get LJ mail from RR all the time.

Aha! Shows what you know! It was being blacklisted, but apparently it's some weird blacklist where it's not universally applied to all of RoadRunner's e-mail accounts (just new ones, apparently).

Anyway, it's fixed now.

Ok, but I've also had my RR account for something like 6 years. So if my memory of such is a little off, then so be it.
