Well, dip me in bronze and call me a knick-knack

Ric Flair has apparently given his notice of intention to quit to the WWE.

About time. Flair was and remains my most beloved childhood hero. He should have retired years ago.

The thing of it is, he's not quitting because he's old, or because he feels he can't wrestle any more. He's quitting (or at least giving notice to quit) because they (WWE) doesn't have any angles for him.

Although, considering that a dozen or so of their wrestlers have been suspended (and another few fired) for violations of their Wellness Policy, WWE is trying to get Flair to not quit, promising him all kinds of things....

I would not be a bit surprised if this isn't the last we've seen of the Nature Boy in a WWE ring.
